Senate Rejects Paul Ryans Budget… Now What?

57 to 40 was the roll call from the Senate vote that had shot down the proposed house budget bill by Representative Paul Ryan. The Senate without a shadow of doubt VOTED NO on this budget. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), the big man of the Tea Party movement, voted in opposition because he felt there should have been deeper cuts (I FULLY AGREE). Some other moderate GOP members and new-comers in congress such as Maine’s two Republicans, Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, Massachusetts Sen. Scott Brown and Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski ALL VOTED NO! I find it odd that most of these govt. officials voted no because they were all very loyal back in March…

Typical was Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) who frowned upon the House Republican plan for ending Medicare and threatening to double the out-of-pocket costs for NH seniors in the future. Shortly after all of that the typical hypocritical and idiotic Liberal was against the Obama plan! She felt that it lacked making the reforms needed to address the nation’s fiscal problems. Jeanne, you’re just an average Liberal jack-ass!

Were still unclear of how Biden will deal with Medicare… lets hope Bidens plan is good because we know Congress is definitely staying a good distance from the GOP plan!

No one is in favor of the Democrats plan… and no one wants the GOP plan either… it looks like were stuck in a hole right now and we had better work out the kinks in all of this budget talk and get our shit together!

“The promise of Medicare is this: if you work hard, America will make sure you are protected in your golden years,” Harry Reid quote. “The Republican budget would break this promise. It would make life significantly more difficult and painful for America’s seniors. It’s as simple and serious as that.” Harry Reid quote.
