I knew Obama and the US would try to help Norway for their tragedies but I didn’t know when.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – President Barack Obama called Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg on Saturday to offer U.S. condolences over the killing of dozens of Norwegians and pledged assistance if needed.
The White House said Obama wanted to express “his deepest condolences for the dozens of innocent Norwegians killed and injured in yesterday’s senseless attacks in Oslo and Utoya Island.”
“The president offered any assistance the United States could provide to the Norwegian government in dealing with this horrible tragedy. In this incredibly difficult time, the president reaffirmed the deep and longstanding friendship between the United States and Norway,” a White House statement said.

Yeah, it’s tragic… but I am more worried about how much money Obama wants to give Norway!

You are kidding right? You do know that Norway happens to be one of the richest countries in the world, why on earth would they want any money from the US?

That doesn’t mean our country wont be willing to give them money. And I do realize that it’s unlikely and unnecessary for us to give them money because it wasn’t a huge disaster throwing the nation completely out of order like in Japan… but the point is America always has to get in everyone else’s business which is ridiculous.

Norway have become far richer than the US. And with our government we would not accept money from other countries, as we have ”enough” of money.
I am sure Norway gives away far, far more money than the US pr.capita.
what happened 22.july truly WAS a huge disaster wich DID throw the nation completely out of order in the hours our government had no controll over. The terrorist attackes killed a higher % of our people than what happened in 9/11. Don’t tell me 9/11 wasnt a disaster, because it was. Now I agree in something, what happened in Japan was worse. And was a greater disaster, wich requires money to repair.
Btw, The US has to get in everyone else’s business and ”care” because you are depending on a world carrying you and your wealth. I am then talking about your world currency, your debt, your wars (libya f.ex is dumped on Europe).
That game is lost for Europe, the Europeans are going thru worser times. Just when Putin has new plans for an Eurasian Union. Offcourse US has to be friends with as many as possible. Don’t get me wrong, I love US, and it’s non-socialism. In Norway, Obama would have been considered a Right-extremist. But all in all, Norway is great, for now.
