Perry On Top… But For How Long?

Rick Perry

I like Rick Perry and I think right now he is honestly the best candidate. I was really liking Romney then Perry entered the race and he did to me what he did to everybody else… Blew them away! He’s stolen all of thee attention and stole that front runner spot away from Romney and Bachmann. He stole that spot before he even entered the race. But not is there ONLY good about Mr. Perry, there are some gaps in his campaign.

I wonder how long will Perry keep the “spotlight” and what might just take all thee attention away from Mr. Perry? And what could possibly DESTROY his campaign? KEEP READING!

The Perry Spotlight: How Much Longer?

I have a couple of theories about Perry and his popularity:

  1. When (if) Palinenters the race the media and people will quit focusing on Perry and they will only care about Palin.

    Sarah Palin

Romneywas on top and was the number one contender, but then Perry entered the race and Perry got the most attention and he became the main concern and focus…. and he is getting pretty much positive attention. So Palin could enter and could do EXACTLY what Perry did. And if Palin does become the top candidate and front runner then The only focus will be Palin, Perry and a little bit of Mitt Romney and candidates like Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum can say bye-bye.

  2. Perry will keep the spotlight thee entire race just like Barack Obama did in 2008 and it’ll just be a battle of Perry V.S. Obama and no other competition in the GOP field which is what Perry will want because that’d definitely be much easier then putting up with a battle against Obama (Democrats) AND his own party members.

Rick Perry’s Campaign Destroyer

Immigration, immigration, immigration… The destruction of Rick Perry. Rick Perry is very inconsistent on his immigration thoughts and policies. Some days he feels like he loves them little illegal aliens and other days he doesn’t. But he cannot seem to make up his mind. Below is a statement by Rick Perry that just pisses me off and makes me not like Perry so much. I’d LOVE Perry if he was a true conservative when it comes to immigration policy.

Below is a statement by Rick Perry that just pisses me off that shows the gaps in his immigration policy. This quote makes me not like Perry so much.

We must say to every Texas child learning in a Texas classroom, “We don’t care where you come from, but where you are going, and we are going to do everything we can to help you get there.” And that vision must include the children of undocumented workers. That’s why Texas took the national lead in allowing such deserving young minds to attend a Texas college at a resident rate. Those young minds are a part of a new generation of leaders[;] the doors of higher education must be open to them.

That’s not a policy of his that I really like and this could be what DESTROYS Perry’s chances of getting elected. The only reason I could believe that it might not affect his chances are because Obama and him both have pretty much the same immigration policy. So if he’s nominated as front runner and he’s against Barack Obama then the immigration policy is something the American people don’t like of Obama and Perry so it wouldn’t be a huge game changer. BUT, you never know what Obama OR Perry have up their sleeve.
